By Terry Rusty

Kettlebell workouts have soared back to the top of the list in terms of popularity from the guy next door to mixed martial artists to celebrities saying that they have found the ideal workout and do you know what? The hype is well deserved. The Kettlebell workout is an incredible fast and effective workout that will kick your butt from here to Sunday. During this article I will go through the benefits of a Kettlebell workout.

Even the most basic exercise used with a Kettlebell enables a high number of small muscles and connectors creating a more all around workout in the fastest amount of time. Take the Kettlebell swing which affects the arms, legs, back, shoulder and a ton of smaller muscles in the one simple motion. The Kettlebell forces all of your smaller muscles to come to life in order to perform both the exercise that you are doing while at the same time making sure that you are balance and stable. By working both your core muscles and stabilizer muscles you are going to benefit in all sorts of way and reach your ideal physique a lot more quickly.

Kettlebell workouts will save you a ton of time. With your basic gym workout a lot of time is spent going from machine to machine and waiting for lineups and with luck you may finish within a hour. The Kettlebell exercise routine you are combining both cardio and strength training with a large number of muscles so you can get out of the gym much more faster with better results. Here is a recent comment made by celebrity fitness trainer Missy Beaver about her client Katherine Heigel workout schedule "With Katherine's busy schedule, Kettlebell workouts are perfect because in 20-minute sessions you get a cardio, strength and flexibility workout that would take hours at the gym."

No bulky equipment. The problem I have always had with the gym is that I could not concentrate completely on my workout as I was distracted by what was taking place around me but due to the sheer size of most home gym equipment I just did not have the space to in my small apartment. When I first tried out the Kettlebells I was stunned by how well it worked and pleased when I realized how easy it is to store.

The Kettlebell workout has been around for a long time due to how fast and effectively it can get your body into its peak condition fast and effectively. If your routine has become stagnant give the Kettlebells a try.

What You Need to Know About Hypothyroidism Foods

By James Wight

When you have hypothyroidism you will often feel tired, stressed and weak because of your condition. Many people often also gain weight. Certain foods can change all of that and this is what I'm going to talk about here.

In this article I intend to tell you which foods will increase your energy levels and will foods will hinder your energy levels and even cause energy crashes. By taking on this information you will start to feel better in no time.

Here are the hypothyroidism foods that I recommend: Chicken Breast, Fish, Turkey, Low fat milk, Yoghurt, Avocados, Lentils, Bananas, Pumpkin & Sesame seeds, Almonds.

You must also go for foods which incorporate iodine. This is great for hypothyroidism and helped me to get my energy levels up quickly. Some foods I would recommend are fish oils, seaweed and sea kelp.

You need to really try to listen to and feel how these foods react with your system. Try to really take notice of how you feel around 40 minutes after each meal. As you do this you will become more in tune with your body.

As you do this you will also notice that some of my recommended hypothyroidism foods help more than others and you can increase these in your hypothyroid diet as you go.

A great way to really gage this is to use a food diary and record how you are feeling as you try certain things. Alternatively you can write your own blog. You can get a free, easy to use blog at blogger.com which will allow you to not only record your journey but also interact with others doing the same thing. I found this to be a great help and I'm sure you will too.

One thing I cannot stress enough is to stay away from fad diets! These are usually diets that involve extremes like only eating soup or cutting out all carbs. These diets are bad for most people but are especially bad for someone with hypothyroidism.

Take these ideas and use them and you will feel the difference. What have you got to lose?
